Can we finally say hello to Spring?! Or is more like hello early Summer? Going from cold and rainy to hot and 90 seems a little loco, wouldn’t you say? At least now we can finally enjoy all those outdoor activities we mentioned posts ago, the beach, eating outside, etc…
As you know, a little something comes along with the heat, staying HYDRATED! Hydration is key in your every day life, but especially with warmer climates, and activities that cause you to sweat, you must replenish with that H2O.
It is said to be true that on a daily basis you must drink about half of your weight in ounces. For instance, if you are 140 lbs. (average woman) you should be filling up with about 70 oz. of fluid daily. It is known that for any caffeinated beverage, you must replace that with one 8 oz. glass of water. Almost makes you re-think that 3x a day coffee, right?! Also, the more you sweat, the more you need to drink. Your body needs to constantly be replenished and hydrated especially as an athlete.

We all know, that sometimes water can just get plain old tiresome and boring. This is where you get to play and get creative. So many companies now sell infuser bottles where you can load up a tube of fruits, citrus, spices, etc…
Some great examples of infusers to add to water are:

The creations are endless. It really all depends on preference and the flavors your buds enjoy. Lately, S has been filling a gallon of Poland Spring with lemons, cucumbers and ginger the night before to let the flavors really absorb so that the next day she has already prepared infused water. All about that #prep life!
