Happy almost Spring time!! 🙂 Hope everyone had a great weekend and is loving this new warmer weather! Have you gone into freak mode and are wondering how to get beach body ready?! Well don’t panic yet because we wanted to share an awesome workout we just got into called Row45.
So before we go into detail about the workout, here is just a little 101 on rowing. This total body movement consists of 60% legs, 20% core and 20% upper body. Basically, you are using every muscle in your body with forceful movements to find your stroke and get those meters up there! Speaking of meters, a good split time (500 meters) to stay under or around is about two minutes….feel that burn baby!
Now as far as the studio, Row45 is a 45 minute fast pace, music driven, total body interval workout. They are located in Albertson, Jericho and opening in Port Washington this coming weekend (YAY!) Within those 45 minutes, you are coming on and off the rower constantly keeping a high heart rate. Even on the rower, you are challenging your muscles by incorporating underhand rows, side rows (for obliques), bicep curls and pushes which are killer! Burning 400+ cals in this short amount of time, and working muscles you may not particularly use during your regular gym workouts or spin classes. Have we sold you yet?
